Each day I have 0.5g each of Reishi and Turkey Tail, 1.0g of Lion’s Mane and Cordyceps, plus 70-80g of cooked white button mushrooms.
At the suggestion of another pet owner in our neighborhood, when our dog was diagnosed with liver cancer, we purchased Wild Turkey Tail Mushroom Powder on amazon. We put a half tsp of the powder in her food every morning and night and she lived for 2 years past the initial diagnosis. The powder is supposed to stop the growth of abnormal cells - we don’t know if it worked but liver cancer is a pretty serious and fast acting disease. We were blessed with an additional 2 years with our beloved.

I eat a lot of white and baby bellas, mostly sauteed in evoo with maybe a pinch of thyme, s&p. Its an inexpensive way to add low cal protein. Good to know there may be other benefits, too.
I love mushrooms, especially the purple ones....................
