Kamala Harris spent $1.5 billion on her failed presidential campaign, hemorrhaging on average $100 million per week — proving that she and her claque are as bad at managing money as they are at generating coherent policy ideas.
The big-ticket items:
- $900,000 to advertise on the outside screen of the Las Vegas Sphere (Harris ended up losing Nevada).
- A cool million to Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions for Harris’ splashy townhall event with the media queen.
- Ten million for a series of Gen X-bait conferences with the likes of Jon Bon Jovi (Harris ended up losing Gen X).
- $494 million on overall advertising — half a billion bucks.
Heck, Kamala was so desperate to seem like she had something to say she paid big names to talk to her.
**SNIP**
It was hollow and fake from the start.
Right down to the creepy, Stalinist rallying cry of “Joy” taken up by eager lapdogs at the Times and elsewhere.
Trump was clearly the one having fun, zipping around the country, doing his trademark shuffle and letting fly one-liners as Harris stumbled and fumbled and mumbled and her army of enforcers on social media and in the press screeched about how amazing and wonderful and perfect she was.
And despite having every major media organization pulling for her, she just didn’t have what it takes.
Either in personality or policy.
Money matters plenty in campaigns, but it can’t make up for having no real message and a candidate with zero credibility.
Worse yet for the Democratic Party’s future, it may just have taught its donors to think twice before giving a dime to an apparatus that burns cash so incredibly cluelessly.

Hilarious. Even worse than Hillary.
why would a prez candidate have to pay interviewers ?
they not only blew through $ like water: they dumped staff unceremoniously and apparently without severance. totally feckless with donor money and no planning ahead to take care of their loyal footsoldiers.

To guarantee soft treatment.
And, she was supposed to handle OUR money!
Thanks God, she lost!
Harris presidency would keep wasting trillions of OUR money on stupid projects.
Both 2016 and 2024 elections clearly demonstrated that Trump can handle money a lot better than any Democrat!
Yes, media usually pays for the interview, or at least, it will do it for free.
And, all those famous “supporters” like Beyonce or Oprah?
Did they need to be paid?!
How much money did Trump pay to Musk?
(hint - nothing, Musk donated big to Trump)
America is $36T+ in debt..both sides suck at finances and the debt was brought to you by 535 idiots.
All of these things should have been visible to us prior to the election, but certain things got in the way.
1. Media was relentless in telling us this was a race “too close to call”. They kept quoting what turned out to be obviously fake polls. The worst was the Saturday night Iowa poll (look! Kamala up by three!) I kept thinking, what are they seeing that I’m not? Trump’s rallies, Trump interviews, especially culminating with Joe Rogan (35 million views) and Mcdonald’s and garbage truck capers and a clear and consistent message on immigration, economy and woke (transgender) stuff, gave me a sense of Trump really winning and running away with the race.
2. The constant threat of ballot stuffing and cheating. Could the cheating reach an even higher level than 2020, to again counter Trump’s obvious lead? It turned out, not so much.
So for us conservatives, there was this odd sense of - we really seem to have this election put away, but do we really? Fortunately it was settled on election night and not weeks later.
She is the modern woman epidtome of starfish do nothing, throw more money at it
It makes migrants a lot of money in the burbs with these rich lazy women... also a lot of sex for fixing sht or merely sweeping the garage
Imagine how Harris would have cratered the deficit and brought in more illegals that way to satisfy that Obama Fubar section of the country...
Does not account for 1/2 a billion. Where did that go?
....all of us thinking conservatives saw these things but obeisant media,
crooked pols and falsified polls were determined to knock Trump out.....
> why would a prez candidate have to pay interviewers ? <
My guess: He who pays the piper calls the tune.
In other words, along with the interviewer’s fee there’s a list of questions that must be asked. Ask those questions, and only those questions.
Strategic problems are ignored, brushed aside with the reasoning that with so much money coming in, they are obviously winning and can buy their way out of any problems that may arise. Well-posed internal criticism gets treated as a sign of negativism and disloyalty.
The Democratic party may find that such losing traits have become ingrained and cultural in nature. And it could not happen to a more deserving group.
The Democrats’ approach to any problem - throw money at it. Usually it’s the taxpayers’ money, here it’s the donors.
Trump was busy reaching out to people, campaigning on the issues.
Know nothing Harris was holding concerts.
Her campaign could’ve spent twice that with the same results.
If they had stuck with Joe, they could’ve spent five times the amount with EVEN worse results.
