Well, quite honestly, do the points you brought up really matter?
Last summer, when Macron and Cameron first brought this madness up, they were told it would mean direct NATO Russia war. At that point, I began to identify the targets with 75 miles of me. 75 miles or more from me means I can probably hole up and survive for a while.
I stopped counting after six or seven that are obviously also represented here.
Is that NORAD?
Numero Uno is DC! Finally, the Swamp is drained.
And Minot AFB.
Looks like Oak Ridge is on that map. 😱
I’ve been selected to enter the mine site....
“Mr. President, I would not rule out the chance to preserve a nucleus of human specimens. It would be quite easy atthe bottom of some of our deeper mineshafts. The radioactivity would never penetrate a mine some thousands of feet deep. And in a matter of weeks, sufficient improvements in dwelling space could easily be provided.”
“How long would you have to stay down there?”
“I would think that uh possibly one hundred years.”
“You mean, people could actually stay down there for a hundred years?”
“It would not be difficult mein Fuhrer! Nuclear reactors could, heh... I’m sorry. Mr. President. Nuclear reactors could provide power almost indefinitely. Greenhouses could maintain plantlife. Animals could be bred and slaughtered. A quick survey would have to be made of all the available mine sites in the country. But I would guess... that ah, dwelling space for several hundred thousands of our people could easily be provided.”
“Well I... I would hate to have to decide who stays up and who goes down.”
“Well, that would not be necessary Mr. President. It could easily be accomplished with a computer. And a computer could be set and programmed to accept factors from youth, health, sexual fertility, intelligence, and a cross section of necessary skills. Of course it would be absolutely vital that our top government and military men be included to foster and impart the required principles of leadership and tradition. Naturally, they would breed prodigiously, eh? There would bemuch time, and little to do. But ah with the proper breeding techniques and a ratio of say, ten females to each male, I would guess that they could then work their way back to the present gross national product within say, twenty years.”
- Dr Strangelove & President Merkin Muffley
“Doctor, you mentioned the ration of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn’t that necessitate the abandonment of the so called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?”
“Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature”
- General Buck Turgidson & Dr Strangelove
“I think we should look at this from the military point of view. I mean, supposing the Russkies stashes away some big bomb, see. When they come out in a hundred years they could take over... In fact, they might even try an immediate sneak attack so they could take over our mineshaft space... I think it would be extremely naive of us, Mr. President, to imagine that these new developments are going to cause any change in Soviet expansionist policy. I mean, we must be... increasingly on the alert to prevent them from taking over other mineshaft space, in order to breed more prodigiously than we do, thus, knocking us out in superior numbers when we emerge! Mr. President, we must not allow... a mine shaft gap!”
- General Buck Turgidson
that area where Oregon, Idaho and Nevada come together
= = =
Claude Lafayette Dallas Jr. lived there, for a while.
To be absolutely sure, the Russians could detonate a dozen low yield nukes in our atmosphere and bomb us back to the 19th Century. Relatively few would die as a direct result of blast or radiation.
The 19th Century technology we would then be relying on would feed perhaps 10% of our population if you could get it to them.
EMP could kill 300 million Americans.
Yup. If anyone, and I mean ANYONE, wants to see how radioactive material will be spread worldwide just take a look at that huge volcanic explosion reacted after it went off in jan 2022.
The gasses covered the entire world by summer. 100% covered.
The above ground tests in this country fallout covered just about the entire country. And those were set off one at a time.
We are talking about 100s set off at one time in a full on nuclear war.
Where I live (Northern Puget Sound)in Washington, the grocery stores will probably be vaporized by the nukes, so no problem worrying about them being stripped within 72 hours.
I am less than 5 miles across water from a major nuke storage depot, so bye bye!
As long as they take out the Pentagon and congress first we will be OK.
Seriously the chances of taking out America’s triad of land, sea, and air nukes are 0. It is mutual assured destruction for any party to start a nuclear war. Nobody will survive. Russian generals know that even if Putin doesn’t. So do ours.
If a first strike knock out is impossible how far would tit for tat strikes go? I don’t think anyone is crazy enough to find out threaten though they might.
I really think DC and the surrounding areas deserve a more thorough pasting. I see a lot of deserving areas the map is missing.
As the surgeon would say, you need to get good margins on that cancer.
? NORAD is in Colorado.
There was an Army depot in New York, long since closed.
I was in the fireball where I grew up in Chicago. No point in worring about it.
Besides worrying about a nuclear attack, we should also consider the 90,000 Americans who would be killed immediately if Yellowstone erupted.
With millions more later.
Toast
“Numero Uno is DC!”
Wouldn’t the other side be smarter to leave them in charge?
“For example, why is there a black dot on Seneca County, NY?”
Hunter Biden has a tattoo of those Seneca finger lakes on his shoulder. Some kind of democrat pervert cult there. It’s gotta go.
I knew I was screwed before seeing the map, now it’s confirmed for sure, NE Florida has multiple major military facilities in the region.
Mayport Naval Base, Jacksonville Naval Air Station, and Kings Bay Submarine Base....
If it’s any consolation, a million degrees kills you really fast if the blast doesn’t do it first.
