Based off illustrations my first guess is a spear, then my second is a sword.

How would any physical weapon affect a spiritual being?
Would a spiritual weapon bear any resemblance to a human weapon?
About 30 years ago I was doing exorcisms with a lot of success. It was a hot summer evening, and suddenly the room got freezing cold. I mean cold like a blast freezer that chilled you to the bone. Satan appeared as he was upset with what was happening.
I turned to Archangel Michael and said “Ther he is. You can get him.”
Archangel Michael replied, “It’s not time yet.”
That was the last day of my war on evil as I realized that God is in control and everything is unfolding according to His Plan on His timetable.
God is using evil for a purpose.
While I still encounter evil and occasionally must deal with it, I treat it like a string around my finger to remind me to pray. I just face it and with a heartfelt thanks, say to it “Thank You for reminding me to Pray.” They hate that and quickly flee.
The weeds described in Matthew 13 are here full force right now.

WOWIE!! We just had 3 Priests over for dinner tonite and one of them was talking about being at an exorcism and how POWERFUL it was........he Blessed the man with Holy Water and the guy went BERSERK!
St. Thomas Aquinas opined that since the angels are not physical beings, that they would not fight with physical weapons. Since we know that the angels are pure spirit and pure intellect (they are the only other rational creatures besides ourselves), it would stand to reason that the weapons they use in battle are also spiritual and intellectual.
How this works in practice we have no way of knowing, but there is much we do not know about how things "work" in the spiritual realm.

When you can see those demons against the wall, you are not having a good day.
Years ago when Archangel Michael firt appeared to me, I asked Him His name. He replied “Mi-Ki-El.”
He appears as a bright liquid Light and my heart radiates His profound Love when He is present. He is as real as can be.
I met Him several times before I realized that “Mi-Ki-El” was Michael...
Satan is very afraid of Michael’s Light and Love. I’ve always perceived it as a sword in reality, but have seen statues where He holds a spear.
He is always near, and there to help when asked. However, often He would hold back and expect me to do battle for the experience to get better at it. I’ve been stung many times and trust He will always rescue me.
While stationed on Ft Hood in the early 90s, we had a priest that spent considerable time in Italy as an Exorcist. One day we asked him what an exorcism is like. He responded that he had a hard time detailing his experiences. However said, just watch the Exorcist (movie), and you’ll get a perfect example of what he endured.

2 Kings 19:35 says, “And that night the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians. And when people arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies”
A third option would be it’s fiction.
Not my experience at all.
Supernatural beings usually just ask me for tree fiddy.
Since it’s not me doing the work, but the Holy Spirit doing it through me, I don’t use icons or Holy water. They are afraid of the Light radiating through me.
Most Priests don’t realize that there are two types of dark spirits referred to by Jesus. There are demons and there are unclean spirits.
Demons are fallen angels and are pure evil. Unclean spirits had a physical body of their own and were recruited by evil at death.
Unclean spirits still have the spark of God Essense at the center of thrir soul, but they block and deny their inner Light. They believe that God’s Light will kill them.
I use God’s Light like a net to capture them, and then work with them toward repentance and recruit them as Lightworkers. That’s what pissed off satan.
Demons can only be moved out of the way, but there is no possibility of redemption. They tend to keep coming back again and again. That’s why it is critically important to heal the wound in the person’s soul that allowed them to enter.

In our parish, we say the St. Michael the Archangel prayer after every Mass. I say it every night as I go to bed. My late brother was a security guard, and he considered St. Michael his patron saint. Very appreciative of St. Michael in my life.
He had a holy hand grenade.
Unfortunately, he counted to four.
