The Vice Chairman of Russia's Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, who had previously repeatedly threatened the West with nuclear weapons, has unexpectedly changed his rhetoric. "We would not want something like this to ever happen. There are no madmen in the Russian leadership," he stated.

Medvedev emphasised that Moscow views the use of nuclear weapons only as a "last resort" and stated that the threshold for their use has been verified considering "existing risks".

Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Medvedev has become one of the main spokespeople for the Kremlin's aggressive rhetoric, repeatedly threatening the West with nuclear war and the "end of civilisation".

Among the world capitals he threatened with nuclear attack were specifically Washington, Paris, and London. Following the US approval for Ukraine's use of American long-range missiles to attack military targets on Russian territory, Medvedev announced the imminent start of World War III.

Just watched a clip by Ray McGovern. Long time cia man. He has addressed many global institutions worldwide.
Anyway, he said that when this decision was made allowing the use of atacms the pentagon was never informed of it.

People like him have contacts inside the beltway in specific areas of their interest.

I have read that hypersonic means 5x the speed of sound.

Hypersonic is the speed at which the air ionizes and turns into plasma, and not just a regular shock wave. It's normally about Mach 5, but varies based on air temp, composition, etc.

A 125mm gun has a muzzle velocity of 1800f/s and that is hyper-sonic.

1800 fps is about 1230 mph, and at sea level that's only about Mach 1.6

Scrolling through the comments, they miss the point. The West has absolutely NO DEFENSE against these weapons…..and….they can be fitted with 1800 lbs of HE or a nuke….and the missile has six independently targeted warheads.

These US has multiple different systems that can take these down. And MIRVs have been around since the 70s... Us, Russia, and multiple other countries have some. Nothing really new.
