No, Cruz needs to stay where he is. Heck, we sent $$$ from Michigan to keep him where he is.

I don’t want to lose him in the Senate.

I’d be game for John Cornyn being nominated.

He would be easily confirmed. Trump could then immediately fire him, and we’d be free of him.
