Ted Cruz, safe red seat and the clown in the Senate have an unspoken rule that they will not oppose nomination of fellow senators.

I Really hate to see such a significant defeat so early thanks to RINOs such as Collins, Murkowski, Thune et al.They didn't beat him.
Venmo did.
A gross mistake, the sooner forgotten the better.

Yeah Rudy is a drunk, he couldn’t even hold off the sauce long enough to appear on Fox one night. He was embarrassing.
I saw where DeSantis isn’t going to nominate Gaetz for Rubios Senate seat. I hope DeSantis takes it himself.

I am not sure, but I don’t think that is a requirement. It is basically an administrative job.

Rudy cleaned up N.Y.31 years ago.
he could certainly help drain the swamp
Like he helped with the steal?
Listen, I was the chairman of the 2007 FR Giuliani for President campaign, and I somehow survived the purge. He saved my home town, and I love him for it.
But his time of competency is long in the past.

I think legal competence should be a priority. That, and no outstanding receipts.

I think I researched that once. To be a SCOTUS a person doesn’t have to be an attorney. (Go figure!) I think that is a requirement for AG, though. It’s been a long time, so I may not be remembering correctly.

Gaets bowed out, that's the topic of this thread. You missed my point. I know Gaetz withdrew from the AG position. I was asking about another position, WH legal counsel. If this position doesn't need confirmation and Trump still wants Gaetz on board, he could circumvent the confirmation process by appointing him to a position that doesn't require confirmation.

Joe DiGenova. He and his wife Victoria Toensing were both targets of the deep state. He has an axe to grind AND he has the chops to do the job and experience as a former DoJ officer.

No, Cruz needs to stay where he is. Heck, we sent $$$ from Michigan to keep him where he is. I am neither Cruz nor Texan but I thank you on his behalf.
