I agree with him. Want pot legalized, then do it at the State level. Then it becomes legal in the entire state.

The Texas state constitution prevents cities and municipalities from passing laws that are inconsistent with state law:

Article 11, Section 5
"no charter or any ordinance passed under said charter shall contain any provision inconsistent with the Constitution of the State, or of the general laws enacted by the Legislature of this State."

Paxton should have a slam dunk case, but there are so many bad judges out there, who knows?

Mu point exactly, change it at the State level where the power for the entire state is located. They are trying to weaken state laws along with their Constitution. Thi is who liberals operate at all governmental levels.
