In this war, with mass propaganda aimed at us from Ukraine (which is permitted), our own media (highly biased and often just copy and pasting from the Ukraine), while conducting a near media black out and mass censorship on certain topics, from Russian media outlets, or geographic areas, it is extremely hard to get a good feel for what is actually going on.

The ONLY big picture accurate report on Ukraine was a leaked document which provided some insight to what is true/real. Poor guy: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62l00g0k65o His last name isn't Biden or Clinton, so he doesn't have a “get out of jail free” card.

Here's a question which should be asked: If the Russians know these numbers, which they surely do, if Ukraine knows these numbers, which they surely do, and if our own government and our NATO allies know these numbers, which they surely do, WHO ARE WE KEEPING THIS A SECRET FROM?

There is spin, a lot of hyperbole, appeals to emotions, the use of old and outdated cliche's (Cold War imagery)... And a near silence on topics that may be derogatory for Ukraine.

Seeing through that is hard.
