Good or Not-So-Good, the Pentagon is Going to Respond the Way They Decide to Putin's Threats about the "Ukrainian Missle Penetration into Russia"

We should have lost the Venona Transcripts, intercepts of Soviet cold-war espionage activity. Word came down from the FDR White House to kill the Venona program, perhaps under the influence of Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau who had an important assistant in secret-Communist Harry Dexter White. As it was the military officials responsible for the intercepts continued to accumulate them and the accuracy of Senator Joseph McCarthy's estimates of Communist infiltration of the State Department would ultimately be confirmed nearly to a "T". Military Intelligence revealed itself in that instance not to be an oxymoron.

Every shift of the Joint Chiefs of Staff have bucked Presidential directives. Admiral Thomas Moorer conducted spying on the White House that Nixon detected, but the President held his cards close to his vest and made Moorer beholden to him.

The Military failed to be completely cooperative with the Obama Administration over supposed chemical warfare by Syrian President Bashar al Assad, and later the questionable nature of the narrative tended to support the restrained Pentagon policy about direct U.S. military involvement.

The Military's unlikeliness to respond hastily to Biden's unwise posturing about giving Ukraine missiles that can penetrate deep into Russian territory, seeming to lead us closer to Nuclear War, is not currently leading in the news. But the men who lead those who have to pay the price are unlikely to over-react.

Obama lied about Syrian chemical attack, ‘cherry-picked’ intelligence: report

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/dec/9/obama-lied-about-syrian-chemical-attack-cherry-pic/

December 9, 2013. The Obama administration quashed intelligence reports that suggested an al Qaeda-linked group could have been responsible for the sarin gas attack carried out in Syria last August [2012], according to a news report published in London on Sunday.

In threatening a U.S. military strike on Syria during the weeks that followed after the Aug. 21 chemical attack, President Obama and Secretary of State John F. Kerry cited “definitive” evidence that Syrian President Bashar Assad had been responsible for the incident.

What they kept secret, according to an article by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, was the belief of U.S. spy agencies that military forces loyal to Mr. Assad were not ones in Syria’s civil war to have access to sarin.

150 miles is not “deep into Russian territory”. If that bothers the Russians, then why did they escalate with North Korean troops?

It's a nice way of saying that they may not do as Biden wishes. They don't know how to say it without making Biden look like the demented imbecile that he is.

The Pentagon hasn't always done as Biden wishes. From his first day in office, Biden's team went to the Pentagon to acquire certain information and were met with Pentagon officials and lawyers, who declined to provide said information.

So Biden's attempts to get WWIII going by providing both the missiles and the Satellite access needed have some hurdles. Note the specificity? I think Zelensky fired an 'American Made Atacams' into Russia at a shorter range than ATACAMS are capable of because they didn't have the Satellite info. So it looks like they fired into Russia with an American Made Atacam missile, but likely without American provided coordinates. Zelensky wants to make it look like the Pentagon is involved and providing Satellite info needed for traditional ATACAMS launces.

It looks like Biden 'authorized' the firing of ATACMS into Russia without agreement of the Pentagon. Putin has made the point that long range missiles into Russia require active US Military/Satellite participation, and if they are fired, this brings the US directly into the war with Russia.

The Pentagon has repeatedly said that they will not be firing long range missiles into Russia.

So, it looks like Brandon was able to get long range ATACMS fired a short distance into Russia by bypassing the need for US Military Satellite assets needed for the Ukraine to make use of 'long-range' capabilities of the ATACMS. War, by any means 'necessary' is what Biden is working to start. Putin must know that the Pentagon did not participate, but has updated his Nuke policy to make it clear to the world that they are ready to respond if Brandon should somehow get Satellite support (foreign country?) or Pentagon Satellite info onboard.

The U.S. confirms Ukraine fired long-range ATACMS into Russia for the 1st time

EXCERPT:
"The U.S. official, who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter, told NPR that Ukraine fired seven U.S.-made Army Tactical Missile System into Russia, striking a weapons depot near the town of Karachev, in Russia's Bryansk region, about 70 miles from Ukraine. The official said Russia shot down two of the missiles."

“ It’s a nice way of saying that they may not do as Biden wishes.”

Thanks.

I had begun thinking this is what he tried to say.

That the military will not necessarily follow orders of commander in chief.

Appreciate your post.

ransomnote: Biden is trying to make it look he directed an escalation when in fact the US sent ATACMS to Ukraine in April, and they'd been used twice at that point. But Biden can't force the Pentagon to provide the Ukraine with the Satellite support needed to use the long-range capacity of the missiles. Meanwhile, European and US media are fanning Putin's response to imply he's the one trying to escalate.

The US quietly shipped long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine

This Man,Biden, should have nothing to do with grave decision making. He is incapable of making sound reasonable decisions. Let’s hope that his mental decisions are being sifted thoroughly!

The ‘them’ obviously refers to those in the pentagon who will decide how to respond to putin’s threats and/or actions.

Point is NO ONE voted for or elected them.
I hope this clears things up for you.
