Suites have minimums for each event for food and drinks. No surprise here.

My company has a luxury suite at Yankee stadium that we usually use for clients. Every now and then, a client cancels and the employees get a crack at using it. When employees use it, they are responsible for paying for food and drink.

That came as quite a surprise the night I got to use it. I remember a six-pack of beer came to nearly $100. They charge you as if you are buying it at the concession stand and then they charge service fees on top of that.

"...After receiving six slices of pepperoni pizza and a standard bucket of tenders, the friend in question had to fork out a staggering $653..."

Must have been handled under a federal government contract...

Years ago, my brother got suite tickets for the College World Series for one game so he invited my son and I to attend. My son wanted to order via phone an ice cream sundae. Gave him a $20 and he came back with around $10. Told him I wanted a bite of a $10 sundae.

This reminds me of the time some friends and I pitched in and bought a $1000 pizza. All in all I think it was a fair price.

I guess those $600 hammers that the Department of Defense were buying are a major steal now...

here is the cost from a previous season at Allegiant.
Note where it says serves 10. their $190 wings serves 10

https://info.suitehop.com/hubfs/Catering/Year/2022-2023/Stadium/2022-23%20Allegiant%20Stadium%20Catering%20Menu.pdf

The food the guy ordered was suppose to serve 10. So $190 for wings for 10. Although, not sure how that pizza was suppose to serve 10

Suite prices and minimums for delivery...

Would’ve cost less if they went and got it themselves but, what is the point of being in a suite...

I use to have box seats a certain venue here in Bay Area. Drinks cost way more but, I never left the concert...

Don’t care....

They charged him a penalty for ordering pizza at a football game.

Regardless of who Papa John's sponsors, pizza is not football stadium food. If you can't eat it with one hand and throw it at the other team's fans, it's out.

They could have ordered hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, or cheesesteaks. Depending on the stadium, maybe bratwurst, or kielbasi.

I have always been surprised when people order things without knowing the price.

It is an invitation to be ripped off.

We shouldn’t have to wait over two months for a new president to get into office.
