They should have cut the pizza into eight slices. That way it would only have been $37.50 a slice.

Suites have minimums for each event for food and drinks. No surprise here.

My company has a luxury suite at Yankee stadium that we usually use for clients. Every now and then, a client cancels and the employees get a crack at using it. When employees use it, they are responsible for paying for food and drink.
That came as quite a surprise the night I got to use it. I remember a six-pack of beer came to nearly $100. They charge you as if you are buying it at the concession stand and then they charge service fees on top of that.

"...After receiving six slices of pepperoni pizza and a standard bucket of tenders, the friend in question had to fork out a staggering $653..." Must have been handled under a federal government contract...

Years ago, my brother got suite tickets for the College World Series for one game so he invited my son and I to attend. My son wanted to order via phone an ice cream sundae. Gave him a $20 and he came back with around $10. Told him I wanted a bite of a $10 sundae.

This reminds me of the time some friends and I pitched in and bought a $1000 pizza. All in all I think it was a fair price.

So based on your experience does $300 for a pizza sound right? Not including admin fee or tip. It seems a college game should cost less than a professional game.

I guess those $600 hammers that the Department of Defense were buying are a major steal now...
