Sarah Palin appears to be venting her frustration over not receiving one of Donald Trump's coveted cabinet spots after supporting the President-elect throughout his campaign.
The former Alaska governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate, an early and vocal supporter of Trump since at least 2011, made a series of cryptic posts to social media with screengrabs of other users who were questioning why she had not been drafted into his Cabinet.
In one Sunday post announcing breaking news of a Trump nominee, Palin posted a screengrab of a text message with someone asking her: 'What about you?' to which she replied 'Thank you.'
In another frame, she posted a selfie looking calm while writing the pointed yet exasperated words: 'Funny how politics work.'

Sarah has proven herself to be a mental case. Sad, but reality.
Pathetic. Take your inevitable multi-million dollar payout from the NYT, and go back to Alaska. Disgraceful to be hurling this crap at our President.
The first thing you want to do with people who are upset about not getting power when they feel entitled to it is...
... Give it to them.
Shrug.
Yeah Giluiani’s health has clearly suffered and I pray all his fortunes and health be restored.
The worst thing that happened to her was McCain and his staff turning on her and being cowards when she was their own Vice President nominee.
This article is baiting Conservatives against each other.
Most Conservatives fall for it.
Nothing against Sarah Palin, but where has she been the last 8 years?
Like what??
Considering the source I’m saying “Fake News”
“ perhaps finding something for her in Alaska where she can make a difference, would be okay but lets keep her out of the beltway.”
Perhaps she can replace RINO Murkowski.
Yes sacrificial lamb archetype of sorts.
Amen
I was thinking the same thing. Then she could visit the Bering Straight on the Russian side and say, “hey I can see Alaska from here!” 😂😂😂
“Perhaps she can replace RINO Murkowski.”
good one. I didn’t think of that.
I'm as far from a RINO as one can get.
Not smearing...just the reality that Sarah would bring too much baggage to the administration that would shift focus from the tasks at hand.
Being an avid Trump supporter does not mean one deserves a cabinet spot. Otherwise, I would be Secretary of the Treasury.
She was a “celebrity” politician who is past her prime.
Her resume of accomplishments is very thin.
Was hoping she would land somewhere. But entitlement and resentment have no place.
Make her ambassador to Russia.
Echoes my sentiments exactly.
I generally like Sarah. Think she was badly mistreated by both parties.
But, she’s yesterday’s news. Time for fresher and newer blood in play.
