The US is a nation governed by laws and regulations. It is not a business where managers are in control. Bringing in good people can often fix a business.
The US has many bad laws and bad regulations. Trump’s picks will have to follow the laws.
Changing the regulations is not a fix in itself. Come 2028 the appointees of a President Newsom can bring back those same regulations claiming the same Congressional statutory authority under which the regulations were issued in the first place.
Even in 2025, leftist DoJ and agency people in a Trump administration with civil service protection can claim the statutory law should be interpretated in the fashion the regulations under Biden said they should be. And the judges appointed by Democrats (and Trump and Bush) can agree with the rogues.
Bad laws and regulations need to get fixed at the Congressional level.
Trump must not weaken the Republican majorities in Congress.

Democrats believe bad ideas, they are mentally ill.
President Trump ran ahead of almost all Republican U.S. Senate candidates.
You can check the numbers for yourself.
He is carrying the Republican Party on his back.
From the article:
“This week even the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals weighed in on the issue in Marin Audubon Society v. FAA, in which it held that the Council on Environmental Quality lacked any authority to prescribe the content of environmental impact statements, something it had been doing since 1978. Think! For over four decades this agency has been deciding when such statements are necessary (each of which cost thousands and thousands of dollars to prepare) and what they must contain while acting with no legal authority to do so.”
Any new regulations will have to come from new LAW. Another Lefty president cannot just institute new regulations where they have no authority. At least that’s how I read this.
But just to be sure, I prefer to terminate most of these agencies outright. Then it’ll be harder for future administrations to tie us up with stupid regulations.
