Met Éireann has said that temperatures will drop next week, becoming “significantly colder”.
In an advisory, the forecaster said that from next Tuesday, an Artic (sic) airmass will cover the country from the north, resulting in daytime temperatures ranging around 2° to 6°C. (35.6°–42.8°F)

In other words - winter is coming.
There was a story on one of the major news services a week or so ago explaining that global warming could result in colder winters for Europe this year.
I was sure they had seen long range forecasts about upcoming cold weather and were attempting to explain it away, and here we go! It’s global warming folks!
That’s odd.........................For Florida.............
It’s not too customary for Ireland either. They usually get a lot of rain in winter.
Yeah, “explaining” an oxymoron.
Or Hillary is visiting Ireland soon.
doesn’t the southern medical dictionary define “oxymoron” as “a hyperventilating idiot”? right up there with a “liver” being defined as “someone who just survived surgery”...as in “THAT one is a liver”!
That's because there's only so much heat to go around. When the heat decides to collect in one place and make it hotter, other places get colder. Yeah, science!! /sarc
And warm weather down in Patagonia....
HORRORS!!!!!
I wish global warming would make up its mind.
