Retired software/database engineer here. I tell people I stopped being in a hurry about most things in my life when I walked out of the office for the last time. Still farm and ranch so I do get in a hurry about things a few times a year.
747 CPT for UPS. Boxes don’t bitch! Did that at one point of my career, not too much fun having to ask a flight attendant for permission to use the bathroom. Plus we have MUCH better pay!
