Democrats don’t care about the working class and teachers unions don’t care about the kids learning.
Trump does, help is on the way.
They’re more concerned about a $9 congestion toll than they are whether the kids they teach can read, comprehend what they read, analyze what they read, and write and speak intelligently before they dump them from the schools.
As a ret NYC teacher I have sympathy for drivers paying $45 a week to travel to work in Manhattan and more so for those who get off the Queensboro Bridge at 59th and First and make a lefthand turn to go to NY Hospital on First and 64th and are charged $9 for one block. But I really doubt there are many teaching staff woking in Manhattan schools who drive to work. Traffic is nuts, parking is worse and theres a subway station within easy walking distance of every school. I really think Mulgrew is worried over is the staff at UFT HQ paying $45 a week or being forced onto public transit.
What she is really worried about is being forced to ride public transportation ... dangerous, expensive and so common.
