Pinging to those from the previous threads. I'm genuinely surprised this one ended up so high on the list. It's an iconic song, but it doesn't really fit into one category and doesn't show up on more than one or two of my pre-set iTunes playlists.

This one has an interesting story behind it. It was written by Stephen Stills about his then-girlfriend, singer/songwriter Judy Collins. They both knew their breakup was imminent, and she was helpful in composing it even though some of the lyrics refer to her scheduled visits to her psychiatrist/therapist ("Will you come see me Thursdays and Saturdays? What have you got to lose?"). LOL.

"Chestnut brown canary, ruby throated sparrow ... sing a song, don't be long ... thrill me to the marrow."

Many of your songs are not “high” on my list, but when you post them I say to myself, “Yeah… could see that.”

I hate their politics. But I liked their music.
