If you’re wondering about those Spanish lyrics at the end, here they are:
Que linda me la traiga Cuba,
la reina de la Mar Caribe.
Cielo sol no tiene sangreahi,
y que triste que no puedo vaya,
Oh va, oh va, va.
How beautiful Cuba brings me,
the queen of the Caribbean Sea.
Sky sun has no blood there,
and how sad that I can’t go,
Oh go, oh go, go.
This song was written by Joan Osborne and a big hit for her. But I like Prince's very powerful version far better. No disrespect intended for Joan but Prince owns this song completely. This is a song that you want to play with the speakers super loud, preferably in a dark room with maybe some Christmas lights. While not a Christmas song per se, it definitely evokes the feeling of Christmas, like some of the other songs on my list, including my number #1, which I will not reveal until you release your full list.
