New York Rep. Elise Stefanik has accepted President-elect Donald Trump’s offer to be his enforcer as United Nations ambassador, The Post can reveal.
The 40-year-old upstate Republican, who helped force out two Ivy League presidents with her sharp questioning on campus antisemitism, will the lead Trump’s “America first” and pro-Israel message in Turtle Bay.
“I am honored to nominate Chairwoman Elise Stefanik to serve in my Cabinet as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Elise is an incredibly strong, tough, and smart America First fighter,” Trump, 78, said in a statement to The Post Sunday night.

Heck, nominate me for U.N. Ambassador. The place is messed up and I could neither help nor hurt it. I’d vote “No” on everything from the floor and “Veto” everything in the security council.

Just a suggestion: Don’t run Roy Moore for the vacant seat.
Just imagine that the cheat machine in NY only has to concentrate on a single race. A race that may determine who controls congress. If anyone thinks an unheard of republican can win that race then they are delusional. George Santos anyone?
There is another matter as well. Stefanik just ran a race. People voted for her with no indication that she would not fulfill her duty. Her actions are selfish and a betrayal to her district.

Your second point might be what is going on here. Haley’s primary credential is her stint as UN ambassador. Stefanik will get that credential now, setting her up for a Senate run or a nomination to be VP or even POTUS.
The UN has time and again demonstrated that it is a terrorist organization. Wherever its troops go they rape 7 - 12 yr olds. Get the U.S. out of this demonic organization - defund it, tear the building down in NYC and salt the earth where it stood.

I wish GOP Presidents did not pull appointees from the ranks of sitting GOP federal representatives. There are other good alternatives every time they do it.

I agree with what you said. I think he needs to wait and see how big of a majority they have before pulling someone out of Congress.
