Have not seen any articles on this [yet] but I believe Rand now has seniority to become a chairman of either Homeland Security committee or Healthcare (HELP) with the latter obviously more closer to his heart.

Not sure how much “power” he will have in the Senate but should be interesting. He can at least convene hearings etc.

I hadn't thought about Vance's replacement. Is this something Jordan would want to do? How long does a replacement get to hold the seat before a special election is needed (assuming it is)?
I think Rand and rfk jr will have the necessary tandem to clean up the nih, cdc, and fda.

As chairman of any committee, it is not lost on Rand Paul that there is a Jail in the basement of the Capitol bldg, perfect housing for when the AG refuses to take up a committee’s criminal referral. 😉
