And yet, “33” is somehow a sacred number to many Pennsylvania college students!

For some reason, Rolling Rock beer, brewed in Pennsylvania, uses the number 33. I don't think it's related to the notorious 33 beer from Vietnam. During the Vietnam War, it was said that the beer contained formaldehyde to keep it from spoiling in the tropical heat. It is still brewed, and I have had some myself, and I'm still here.

Here's a famous tribute to that beer.

The Sagehens were the arch-rivals of my Occidental College Tigers. Our rivalry went back to the nineteenth century and is probably the oldest college football rivalry in Southern California. Unfortunately, Oxy dropped football a few years ago.

Didn’t Rolling Rock ponies (10oz.?) come in eight-packs?

Penn State lore, hand-in-glove with Rolling Rock beer (Yes! Proudly sold by the case!):

Is this the “unity” I always hear about from the media?

When I read these four words, “private liberal arts college,” I just chuckled.

Snowflakes are melting down. I suggest they get a few cats, some boxed wine and STFU!!

OOPS, to the Snowflakes, have a nice day!

Is that when they decided that Cleveland was both the 22nd and 24th president?

Maybe you meant the founding of the college?

Hugo, consider that you might have already dreamed of the name “Karen” for your future bride, your daughter, or your transition identity, and now, it’s gone the way of “47.”

I suggest you change your name to Brandon. People will encourage you! “Let’s go, Brandon!”
