In Maine all absentee ballots must be delivered to the ward that the voter lives by the time the polls close: 8 pm November 5, 2024. In my ward the ballots were brough over by city hall officials several times during the day. Each ballot was checked for name, address, etc and then marked as received on the voter list. One Republican and one Democrat opened the envelope, took out the ballot and then went to the scanner and ran the ballot through. About 10 minutes after the polls closed, the tallies from the scanners were printed out (two scanner-one for municipal elections the other for all the rest). By 10 pm we turned the lights off and the ballots were all secured in their locked boxes.
Sounds like a sceam for illegal voters suppression to me.
This is unconscionable. Florida gets it done in less than 3 hours. Almost 14M registered voters; 3 hours to tabulate.
4.3M registered voters in Arizona. Still counting after 60+ hours.

I get the feeling something different may be going on this time around.
Unfortunately, Arizonans LOVE voting by mail. Over 80% vote by mail (with about 10% of those dropping their mail-in ballot off in person). But with 80% of the people using it and loving it, I see no chance it is changed - UNLESS a federal law requiring something different is passed. And I don’t think Congress can/will do that.
My wife voted in person early. Her ballot was still treated strictly as a mail in ballot. It took a week for them to verify her signature. It is nuts but the large majority of people in this state LOVE it!
I guess they still haven’t counted the “provisional ballots” from the Californians and Mexican Nationals.

Nope. Not the cartels. People here just LOVE voting by mail. REPUBLICANS passed it in the 90s to make it easy for retired people to vote.

there remain somewhere just north of 940000 votes to count. they are primarily in red counties and locations... especially Maricopa... if keri pulls 51 percent, of what remains, she will gain her senate seat...putting conservatives at 54 seats it appears.
the polling drops occur at about 72000 a day. Gallegho is a cartel trust kid. Hobbs is the cartel governor and the fake hero astronaut is also commie to the core.

It’s really stupid for states to run elections primarily by absentee ballots! That’s why Arizona takes so long to count its votes after the election.
40% of Maine voted by absentee ballot. They were all processed by Wednesday morning.
Municipalities can start processing the ballots early, but no tallies are run until after 8 pm.
We had a 2 page ballot in AZ thanks to the large number of propositions (too many IMHO). The good news is that we have a new GOP Sheriff in Maricopa County, an new GOP County Recorder, and we brought back the current GOP DA. And rank-ed choice voting was shot down in AZ bigly.
The only real contest going on here is between the out-lyer counties waiting for Maricopa to finalize and Maricopa's machine trying to out wait those counties in order to know how many more fake ballots to manufacture.
For some reason the cartels REALLY want that Senate seat even though it'll be a minority party one for them should they get it.
