Fox News is reporting that GOP flipped 10 counties in CA. What's the dealio?
CA is weird that is a high population dark blue along the coast with a lot of the rest of CA red. Given how bad Harris did with Hispanics, it possible some of the mixed areas flipped to red this time. Trump picked off 2 Texas border counties that have voted Democrat religiously since something like 1886.

Hadn’t heard it yet. There’s millions of us here. Where I am in Placer County, we’re the 14th most Republican in the state at 40.43%, a plurality. Unfortunately as across the country it’s the rural counties that are most GOP. Lassen County is first at 55% but it’s a lightly populated county in the mountains
I'm in San Diego. I saw Trump signs everywhere. Very large Latino and Asian populations. They're not woke. A lot of small business owners struggling.
Orange county is suburban and on the coast. That’s big.

I just saw one on Fox that showed 2020. It was virtually all blue.
It appears now central and eastern Cali is moving red. Not a lot of votes there by comparison of the coastal counties, but they are “seats” in the state assembly they do not have now.

Michelle steel and young Kim you also have Mike Garcia and others not all of CA is commie you have parts of Orange County you have riverside San Bernardino county and the Central Valley that are pretty conservative the problem is LA county and the San Francisco Bay Area has the largest population and is the most liberal

The thing about Hispanic voters, particularly those who have lived in America for a few generations now and speak English at home is that they consider themselves more closely aligned with whites.
A 4th generation Tejano in El Paso who owns an HVAC company and a nice house in the suburbs, with two daughters at Texas A&M and a son in the Marine Corps has nothing in common with some tattooed gangbanger from Venezuela who just hopped the border and is breaking into houses.
The Democrats don't see this. They see no difference between the two.

Trump only lost 5 counties in Oregon and not by much.
He won all of the counties around my area and also Marion county where the state captial is located. There are also a lot of hispanic voters here.
Portland is where the cheating went on.
When mail in ballots have your name and address right on the envelope, all they have to do in Portland is ditch your ballot because they already know which party you registered under. It should be illegal to have your name and address right on the ballot envelope.
I’m in L.A. and other than the main US Senate race (and President obviously), down ballot I voted for Democrats who were less crazy than the other Democrat.
Not sure if they did but everything runs in cycles. Now, if Trump rids us of illegals after assuming office, if he is able to rid us of the current problem nobody can audit.....CA may turn blue again.
