Fox News is reporting that GOP flipped 10 counties in CA. What's the dealio?
Dave Leip has:
Butte, Nevada, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Fresno, Inyo,
San Bernadino, Riverside, and Orange flipping.
For the most part they are interior counties.
10 countries does not = 10 congressional districts
CA was once a red state when the demographics were like a midwest state, about 70% white, after years of illegal immigration the state is less than 48% white and while there are still more conservatives in CA voting for Trump than any other states except Texas and Florida at 4.2 milion, we are swamped by the block voting of people of color cities LA, SF, Oakland, 6 million, this time with Hispanics starting to swing to Trump there are actually more counties voting red than blue, Harris down to 57%
10 countries? What the flip are we doing now? Other countries are involved? That’s it. Start over. Only US ballots. Only US people. Only people alive. How the helm hard can that be? Anything else goes to jail. Do not collect $200, do not pass go? Yeah?

Of those counties flipped, how many of those were congressional seats? 85% of the counties in the country are red.

Hispanics will follow the path that Italian Americans followed. As they assimilate, substantial numbers will go with the Republicans.

The momentum is there, it needs to be followed up. Pressler would be great to do that, as he did it in Pennsylvania.
