Posts are getting pulled left and right here. What is up? The FR doesn't need the participation and traffic anymore?
Censoring? Heavy handedness is not going to go over well at a critical time when you need traffic and donations.

Kidding .... who got their post pulled?
To the contrary I have noticed several duplicate postings and as we all know early poster gets the threads.

Maybe it was from a source not permitted on Free Republic for copyright reasons.
I think the mods are doing a good job overall as this is a pretty clean site. But it would be nice if a small notice was left behind after every removal. “This post was removed because…”
Sometimes that notice does appear - that’s how I learned not to post Getty images. But sometimes the notice doesn’t appear.
It takes a bit of work to make a post. So any guidance sure would be appreciated.
What did you post? You know what you posted. Post it again. Send it to private emails and have them post it to see what happens, take a screen shot

Post the threads you’re talking about. I’m here every day and I haven’t seen it.
I think the animal control people have captured and exterminated some of the hamsters that run the FR server.
Within two minutes Azjoe and me. Mine was a call to shout “let them out”.
It is over they lost, It is time to let them out now.
It is a no brainer what I was referring to, the commenters knew with no problem.
But it got pulled for baffling reasons unknown. It was a call to activism in the proper forum category.

yeah, I’ve got several of my post pulled too.
Recent one was misleading headline, so just the facts when posting.

I see the dupes. And as a webmaster, mod, and former domain owner of another forum I have a very good understanding of what should or should not be pulled. I am seeing unique and productive posts being pulled and cannot come up with a real reason why.

Mine was pulled with no trace or message. Just zip gone from the board along with the comments, and gone from my own user timeline like I never posted it.
That is shadow banning by very definition. As if I never even posted it. I wonder if it also removed the comments from the users who posted timelines too?

Sorry man, just trying to figure it out. It disappeared into thin air from the board and my timeline along with all the comments made to it. No message page nothing.
I have seen this s well on several occasions.
I’ve seen a few trivial and meaningless vanities being pulled with the moderator saying post it on an existing thread as a simple post.
that’s a woman? I thought it was a man doing that. At least the kitten/frog video guy has slowed down or stopped.
