Fox News reported that the DOJ is removing Smith because they have acknowledged that they cannot prosecute a sitting president.
Smith will be gone from his position before Trump is inaugurated on January 20, 2025, Fox News reported.
The network said that the move means that the DOJ is dropping its two criminal cases against Trump.
The case involving Trump’s handling of classified material after he left office was already dismissed by a judge in Florida, but was being appealed by Smith.

My guess is there is exculpatory evidence in the files benefitting Trump and some very likely collusion between Smith, DOJ and the White Houses

Uh, he can run, but he can’t hide.
Mr. Smith needs to be held accountable for the most horrific abuse of power we’ve ever seen.

Me thinks Jack Smith has some people he made promises to that might be disappointed. He should find somewhere to protect himself, not from Trump, but from wrath of failing in his assigned task. These people may not be interested in pursuing legal avenues to address grievances. I sincerely hope that they don’t include the entire family....but you never know about these things.

Don’t let them off the hook. If Trump had lost they would have rubbed salt in the wound as hard as they could. Justice needs to be served.

When DJT takes office I hope he issues a full, unconditional, pardon to Merrick Garland,Jack Smith,Nancy Pelosi,Joe Biden and maybe a few others. Of course President Kommie Harris just might pardon him before 1/20.
These pardons will cause Rat Party Headquarters to go ballistic. "They don't need pardons! How dare you!" will be their refrain.

Somebody in the DOJ is worried about something. What could it possibly be?

They are going to have to drop/dismiss everything, wipe their phones, smash their hard drives, and shred the evidence of their collusion against President Trump.

For DOJ to announce this the day after the election is very suspect. They’re setting up some kind of ambush.

I wonder if anyone would crap their shorts if Trump insisted that they continue with their illegal charade?
