Marshall Owens posted this earluer and it brought a great memory I want to share: In the early 1980s I was a young journalism student and reporter attending college in Lake Charles, LA. While there, I happened to score one of the best interviews of my life, after I heard Charlie Daniels on a radio interview before his concert. I called around and found out he and his band were staying at a local hotel. I called his room and left a message saying I was from Tennessee, but working for the college newspaper here, and how I would be so honored to interview him. He called me back, and told me his son was attending University of Tennessee, and for me to come on over. Daniels was at the height of his career at this time, so this was a major feat for me, and the campus newspaper. Once there, I met the most wonderful gentleman, and a true patriot. In fact, he had just recorded a song, "Still in Saigon," and this was not many years after that war. We talked a lot about how he came to record that. Wish he could be with us today to see this. In honor of that humble man who took the time to give a little green reporter an amazing interview. Oh, and GO VOLS!!!!!!!!! https://www.facebook.com/classicfantasticrock/videos/465006499806683

A nice story to share.
Which 3 are you missing?
Great to hear from you. I lurk often, but don’t post much, as I still, after several decades, don’t have the paragraph breaks down right. But, when I am on here I wonder how you are, and look for your posts. Hope you and yours are enjoying abundant blessings.
This is the song I meant to post:

Alaska, Hawaii and New Mexico.
Been to two Hawaii and NM but you’re way ahead of me as my state count is only at 32.
A lot of it is due to work travel. I think my wife is at 34. She comes along once in a while.
