Dear Mr. President (elect),

I understand the appeal of being magnanimous, and I recognize that you are about action and results, not about revenge or petty games.

However, I would sincerely and emphatically like to request that you do not confuse making stern, deliberate and strategically important decisions with being negative or petty. It is not “taking the high road” when you allow corrupt partisans to keep their positions of power. Power that affects NOT JUST YOU, but ALL AMERICANS.
