Things are a-changin’ in Vegas! And dramatically at that!
The Las Vegas Raiders announced late Sunday night they have fired their offensive coordinator Luke Getsy after the team got off to a terrible 2-7 start. It was Getsy’s first campaign with the team.
Oh, but that’s not all. Las Vegas decided to can their quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello and offensive line coach James Cregg as well. Scangarello and Cregg were also in their first year with the Raiders.
After suffering a dismal 41-24 defeat against the Cincinnati Bengals, the black and silver have now lost five straight games, something the franchise hasn’t done since 2018. On top of that, they dropped to 2-7, which is one of the worst records in the NFL.
It’s easy to laugh at the Raiders right now, but I see a bright future ahead for them if they play their cards right.
Everybody knows how I’m a Miami Dolphins fan in the NFL, and in college I’m all for the Miami Hurricanes, so obviously I’m a huge fan of UM quarterback Cam Ward. Now my Dolphins will probably be too good for the No. 1 pick when the smoke clears, and even if they were bad enough, they’d most likely stick with Tua Tagovailoa.
So that brings me to Vegas … These guys should tank the rest of the season to guarantee the top pick in the 2025 draft. And then after that, bring in the Heisman Trophy favorite. Though I’m loyal to the Trey-0-5, Sin City would be second on my list in terms of favorite metros, and seeing Cam Ward in that town with a black and silver jersey on would be something else.
Tom Brady ownership, Cam Ward at quarterback, the Raiders could have a damn dynasty if they do things correctly — look at the opportunity you have in front of you, Vegas.
If Lance is still on the Cowboys past the trade deadline, the Cowboys front office should hang their heads in shame.
“Gruden used misogynistic and anti-gay language in numerous emails during a seven-year period. That report came days after 10-year-old emails from Gruden surfaced that included a racist comment about NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith as well as a vulgar criticism of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell”

Whatever he said about Goodell he didn’t say enough about that pizza chit.
Ok, so the guy threw 5 interceptions in one game, that shouldn’t count against him. ;)
Seven teams are sitting at 2-7.
I never saw the actual comments, just the summary. Hard to tell anything without the actual comments.
They should all trade coaching staff...................with each other..................
How many hotshot college QBs have imploded in the NFL?.................
😁..................
Most of ‘em.
Spurrier and Saban come to mind
Bingo
In my lifetime of being a Bengals fan I heve seen several coaches fired after losing to the Bengals.
They seem to be the last straw team.
😂🤣😂🤣😁.....................
They have no shame...............
Then Bucs coach John McKay, on a comment that quarterback Steve Spurrier throws one of three passes into the ground: “That’s OK, we’ll just get shorter receivers.”
