Former Texas Representative Ron Paul, a long-time advocate for limited government and free-market principles, could potentially play a role in a future Trump administration.
Paul, known for his criticism of federal policies such as the Federal Reserve, mass surveillance, and the military-industrial complex, has expressed openness to the idea. Responding to Tesla CEO Elon Musk on social media platform X, Paul said he would be “happy to talk” with Musk about joining a potential Department of Government Efficiency.

Ron Paul would be a great addition. He is a prudent politician, but nobody owns him. Trump may have to buy some prepper food to ice the deal.
Yeah, could you imagine paper ballots only, no FED, and 50% cut to government in 4 years?
I know I’m dreaming, but dreams sometimes come true.
Ron Paul is a bit eccentric but I agree, we need people like him as they are the only ones willing to actually dismantle the deep state machine.
Anything, as long as he doesn’t hang on to malicious backstabbers. He needs to have only trusted people around him
Nobody owns him including his would-be boss Trump. It’s a risky move but if Trump did this you know he’s going scorched earth against some very powerful interests i.e the Fed.
Agree swamp rat stompers crew needed asap.
Yaa, but I think scorched earth is what we need, anything less just fails at this point.
LOL Put him in charge of dismantling Federal Reserve LOL. Set up a new structure. Old Fed folks putting Depends on their expense reports
When you bring someone like Ron Paul into the fold then it’s really “game on” . He’d only do it for significant reforms to spending and the Fed.
Trump means business!!
I like Ron Paul.
Actually meet and spoke with him a few times.
I’m just a little surprised that he’s still alive!
Despite his age, think he would be a good advisor for Trump.
The Fed best be shaking.
An administration including a "a potential Department of Government Efficiency" to take down the massive waste and corruption of the administrative state would be wonderful.
A lot of them would be if this happens
And Musk is talking about “sensible spending” this also necessitates deep cuts as anyone informed knows
You beat me to it! Lol.
It’s all a pipe dream. Never going to happen. BUT, I would at least see them try. The head explosions from the left would be PRICELESS.
At this point I say burn it all to ashes, scrap the soil surface, dump in the ocean, and salt the fallow ground, then start over in conservatives states.
Ron woke me up in 2007 / 2008 and is the reason I took a passing interest in politics.
Usually on the losing side being libertarian but this may change
