Some people have posted the squirrel allegedly bit a person.

It is not beyond the scope of reason to test the animal for rabies. It is my understanding (from years ago) that rabies vaccine is expensive & somewhat painful and advanced rabies incurable.

The New York Gestapo could have swabbed Peanut’s stomach and tested the sample for rabies, they DIDN’T have to kill him.

bogus. anytime an animal bites it gets QUARANTINED for 10 days to watch for symptoms. It does NOT get killed

“… It is not beyond the scope of reason to test the animal for rabies…”

Squirrels don’t carry rabies.

I saw a video just a bit ago on this and found out that Squirels do carry Rabies, and they can test without killing the animals.

It’s never been known that a squirrel transmitted rabies to a human.

Also, prophylactic treatment for rabies is now much different than it was long ago. It’s not much different now than getting a few flu shots.

They didn’t need to test the animal for rabies. The couple he lived witth were fine and the squirrel never went out. Squirrels aren’t big vectors for rabies.

This was done out of pure meaness by some dumbarse woman on a power trip.

The squirrel was an indoor pet for 7 years, and had no exposure to any animals that could have infected it with rabies.

The raccoon didn’t bite anyone so why was he killed?

The more likely explanation is government thugs raiding the home and killing the animal just because they could.

Gotta show the little people who’s in charge.

The only person who allegedly got bit was one of the goobers the government sent to confiscate the squirrel.
If the sqwat team hadn’t raided the house nobody would have been bit. They weren’t there because anyone had been bitten, they were there based on an anonymous tip from an internet Karen.
