Jennings’ harshest critics believe that Trump doesn’t merit a defense and are angry that CNN even provides a regular platform for one. “He is completely MAGA and … a really duplicitous person,” said Norm Ornstein, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute who has urged CNN to fire Jennings. “I think it’s a bad model, and I think he represents the worst of it.”

I'll be watching him and Martha Radatzz(ABC) as their networks freak out. Very entertaining at this time.

I think he's really a Bushie but he's doing a good job defending Trump. Kudos to the network for hiring him. He's better than Fox hiring Harold Ford.

So he takes the press secretary job on Jan. 20. This will be 10 weeks after Michael Savage loses the job after one day. Then there’s Mark Levine and my then favorite Katie Hopkins.

They need to be ridiculed in the weeks before getting down to business.

"...Norm Ornstein, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute..." They keep using that word. I don't think it means what they think it means. ;-)

There is no need for a Press Secretary.

They are Swamp and encourage Swamp.

Any WH information that needs distributing can go out online. Let that room full of Swamp journalists each day find other work.

I don’t know who Scott Jennings is… but I have been assuming Tucker would be Trump’s press secretary in a 2nd term…

**Van Jones says he would be brilliant at the podium job.
“I don’t think he would turn it down; I think he would see it as an opportunity to serve the country,” Jones said.**

Jones throwing us a bone.

“Norm Ornstein, a scholar at the American Enterprise Institute”

Of course he is. Where else would he be a scholar, the Manhattan Institute?

That is interesting. I don’t have a television so I’ll have to check him out online. I love seeing leftists gobsmacked.

Nobody asked, but…..If I were WH press secretary my first rule: When I call on a reporter he must stand and identify himself and his news organization.

I just don’t see them getting along in a direct work setting.

He should bring back Kayla. She did well.
