“On the other hand, it’s not NATO-phobia (if there is such a term) to criticize NATO for taking actions Russia saw as provocative.”
Not true. NATO did nothing provocative. pooty thought no-one would care about Ukraine. He badly miscalculated!

'Under the current president (Joe Biden), who has taken the downward spiral of Russophobia in the US to its logical conclusion, our countries are on the brink of direct military conflict,' he told the Hurriyet daily, without elaborating. If it helps any the same people who hate Russia hate conservative Americans. The 'elites' are never introspective - and they feel they're never wrong.

So every time someone posts an article that slights Russia, the resident trolls and Russians pile on with nasty comments.
But, I’m wondering, if that is the case, why aren’t these same trolls and Russians posting article after article about the wonderful life and opportunities that is Russia? Why not? Or are there none to be posted?

Good to see that you're not hating on President Trump this election cycle, Fishy.
Took you a few years, though...

Good point. If Trump wins - Biden/Harris will have plenty of time to escalate a war with Russia for Trump to handle.
Thing is..... Trump would make a great war time president.

> NATO did nothing provocative. <
That’s not exactly what I said. I said that NATO did things that Russia saw as provocative. Consider the Baltic states. Like it or not, they are in Russia’s backyard. Then one day, *poof* they are in NATO.
That had to been seen as provocative by Russia. Just as putting Soviet missiles in Cuba back in 1962 was seen as provocative by the United States.
As I said earlier, there are no clean hands here. NATO did things that weren’t very friendly (for lack of a better word). And then Putin wildly overreacted.
It’s kind of like what set off WW I. Let’s just hope that Trump 2.0 can stop a WW III.

This Ukraine-Russia war as well.
Both Putin and Zelensky want Kamala in the White House. They don’t care about our country at all; they selfishly only care about themselves. And they want to keep up the fighting. Friends of mine with Slavic backgrounds say it is a Slav thing.

If Trump wins, our involvement in the war will end, forcing Ukraine to surrender.

Globalists and their desire to colonize Ukraine started this war by fomenting an illegal coup in 2014. That setoff a civil war in Ukraine.
Trump will not do the bidding of the globalists and will end the war by cutting off military funding for it.
Ukraine will be forced at that point to cut the best deal it can. That deal will result in the concession of all the territory it lost.
