I’m with Coach Tony Dungy on this one.
I’ve watched Dungy for years over his career, from what I’ve seen, I believe he’s a very good man. He’s right about this too in my opinion. Great work Tony. 👍
Tony Dungy has always been a class act. I’ve followed his work and life for 2 decades and there doesn’t seem to be a single false thing about him.
Sickens me that most likely this will pass
The Advertisements for this here say-“Stop the cruel abortion amendment,” or something to that effect. They always say it’s “cruel.” Not letting me kill some kid is ,”cruel.” Just let me slaughter innocent children you heartless bastard.
Florida Amendment 4, the Right to Abortion Initiative, is on the ballot in Florida as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 5, 2024.
A "yes" vote supports adding the following language to the Florida Constitution’s Declaration of Rights: “… no law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.” Amendment 4 would maintain the current constitutional provision that permits a law requiring parents to be notified before a minor can receive an abortion.
A "no" vote opposes amending the Florida Constitution's Declaration of Rights to provide that the state cannot "... prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider."
So he opposes adding language to the law that requires parental notification. I think that is a slippery slope that takes a decision out of the parents hands.
I have to disagree with him, unless he would agree to a waiver in cases where the patient is in imminent danger if the situation is not dealt with ASAP.
I still think the parent must be the decision maker for the child. Perhaps there could be an age limit applied also. Say 16?
