A video of Donald Trump calling people close to Kamala Harris "garbage" has resurfaced after Trump criticized Joe Biden for using the same word against Trump supporters.
The clip was posted on X, formerly Twitter, by the anti-Trump conservative group The Lincoln Project. It shows a portion of Trump's rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, on September 7.
Trump discussed the possibility of Harris winning the presidency, and went on to say, "It's not her, it's the people that surround her. They're scum. They are scum, and they want to take down our country. They are absolute garbage."
It comes after Trump called out Joe Biden for appearing to refer to some Trump supporters as "garbage."

Included the author's name to make her famous. While she quotes Trump re: people surrounding Harris, the author uses "appearing", and adds an extra word to Biden's statement: "some". Biden said no such thing, and he didn't "appear" to call half the country garbage, he actually did it.

Good try. He called Harris political allies and handlers scum not her voters. Biden specifically called anyone in the public who voted or supported Trump garbage. If she thinks she has a political argument, she can rent a garbage truck for her own stunt.

Except Biden didn’t use the word “some”. He didn’t say “the only garbage I see is some of his supporters”. He said “the only garbage I see is his supporters”. It’s a fun fact that if you insert new words into a sentence, it can change the meaning of the sentence, for example if a Democrat says “Biden is a President”, and then I insert the word “pedophile”, the sentence becomes “Biden is a pedophile President”. I guess they don’t teach these fun facts at journalism schoool.

difference is “garbage” are the folks who make the country work, “scum” are the ones that want to stop or replace the “garbage” that makes the country work. That and the “scum” are mostly pedos and purchased foreign agents.
