North Korean troops sent to Russia may be pleased to be there, even as they face ferocious fighting

These soldiers may view their Russian tour with pride and as a chance to make good money, see a foreign country and win preferred treatment for their families back home.

“None would think they are going to Russia to die,” Choi said. “But I think they're cannon fodder because they will be sent to the most dangerous sites and will surely be killed.”

We shouldn't worry as much as the deep state does. They'll eat better.

**Large North Korean troop casualties would be a major political blow for Kim Jong Un,**
I don’t think so. It’s the potential defectors we can lure.

**North Korean soldiers have been trained on the Korean Peninsula’s mountainous terrain and are not familiar with the largely flat plain battlefields in the Russian-Ukraine war.**
China got it’s butt kicked when they attacked Viet Nam. Kim is just as naive.

Poking around the internet last night (I know that's a bad thing to do...) I discovered videos and posts that seems to indicate there are many foreign troops from several nations fighting alongside Ukrainian troops.

The foreign troops tend to be small unit sizes and poorly equipped and in some cases have problems with communications due to language barriers...what is going on here and why is this war taking so long to end?

Send in drones with leaflets. Add a few girlie magazines. Marijuana joints. Little 4 oz. plastic bottles of Jack Daniels.

The neocons are wetting their beds at night over North Korea sending a few thousand troops to Russia to learn the tactics being used in this war. It’s a smart decision by the regime. The western media always has to paint everything about Russia in the worst light. I’m sure Korean soldiers will die if they join the battle but they won’t be used as cannon fodder anymore than Russians are used as cannon fodder.

Each ration pack must seem like an unimaginable feast to the norks. And they’ll be much harder for the Ukes to shoot. 4 foot 11 and all makes for a very small target!

Hey, they might get killed or maimed but it beats living in North Korea.

Bummer. I kinda thought this fish-out-of-water post would have had more interest. A definitely interesting topic. I was wrong.

Perhaps we can have a man-bites-dog ending to this story.

Sounds like the narrative is shifting, rather like watching an ocean liner “turn on a dime.” Takes a while, but it is observable in the end....

A major problem is being too weak to throw a grenade far enough to keep from blowing up yourself

It would be like a poured beer coming to a head. We need to be prepared to open the floodgates. I’d be awesome. Hopefully they’ll be more than a few Korean speakers available on the Ukraine side to facilitate the defectors. .

Should the Nork regime fall the south will have to go on a 6 month holiday to absorb and adjust to unification. It would be like trailer trash moving into a gated community. The UN will have to come up with a whole lotta money.

Foreign volunteers joining the Ukraine army (or the Russian army) and the North Korean Army sent in to fight by the North Korean government are two different things.

ARRIVING at the beginning of winter in a country that has harsh winters & has a reputation for not being able to properly clothe & house & FEED & ARM their troops-—DOESN’T SEEM TOO SMART to me...

Western munitions familiarity course for Kork troops:
Have them gather in one spot and send them ATACMS with clustered ball bearings to inspect.

When their devoted crack troops overrun the Ukranians and see the foodstuffs they have, they will fight harder again and again to get at them.

There is advantage here.....
