Rest In Peace, Teri! You left us fond memories of your work on Star Trek, the movies, and being a lovable guest on David Letterman (before he became a creep).
That’s terrible. I thought she was so cute.
I always liked her role in an under appreciated movie “After Hours”...totally a bizarre construct of a story, and her character was one of the weirdest.
I always liked her.
Awwww. RIP darlin.
To survive MS until 79 is an accomplishment. (My wife passed at 51.) RIP Terri.
“Nice knockers.”
“Thanks!”
RIP.

RIP.
I loved her in “Young Frankenstein”.
She was also quite good in Oh God as John Denver’s wife.
Wasn’t she in “dumb and dumber” as well?
I like that movie. It’s an underrated Scorsese film. It was a snapshot of a very different Manhattan than what exists today.
RIP, Teri. Lovely woman inside and out.
Awww. She was adorable!
RIP
And thanks for making me feel that much older. /s
Impossibly cute girl next door and funny. much better than botox stuffed skanks these days. saw her maybe 10 years ago on the escalator at the airport. all I could think about was Young Frankenstein. sad news
She was in a lot of movies from the mid-70s through the mid-80s. Close Encounters, Mr. Mom. Oh God. She was the go-to “mom” character for a while. Rest in peace.
Is it weird that I thought she was already dead?
I know Madeline died pre-Y2K... bought I thought Teri had passed too...
Maybe I DO need to cut back on my caffeine consumption.
Her body of work is tremendous for a female comedian. Sexy enough to play a femme fatale or seductress, with the facial control to be the goofy girl or airhead blond. Had the acting chops to play in dramas (perfect as the frustrated and scared wife in close encounters of the third kind). She made Mr Mom a better movie, and elevated a few pretty poor scripts. One of my faves.
It is 100% a strange movie-I feel as if I am the only one who admits to having ever watched it.
It has that strange background “music” that seems to simply be two bars of something repeating over and over again just within the register of hearing...
But something about it really hits my funny-bone...
