Election Day Eve 04 Nov 2024.
Well MQM/MQD and my fellow Freeqs tomorrow is the day. We’ve been on quite the journey getting here. Made friends, lost friends, got new jobs, lost jobs, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, babies, graduations, holidays, on and on...
My polls open at 0630....I’m currently wired and will likely have trouble sleeping...so will likely be in the parking lot waiting for them to open the doors tomorrow morning...either that or finally getting to sleep and eventually wandering over after lunchtime but before folks get off work (let’s be honest I’ll be up till 2-3 tonight and this will most likely be the case).
It’s been a constant grind these past 8 years? 7? ...well 501 threads anyway...It’s been an honor to share the interwebs with all of you and remember no matter what tomorrow brings NCSWIC and in the end God wins.

I’m hoping this is a good omen: went to bed around 3-3:30 after watching the closeout of the final Trump rally in Grand Rapids.
Slept till 9, was at the polls before 10 (line was about 200 but moved quite rapidly), home by 10:45, made a samich and freshened the coffee and now will be sitting here on the computer till this thing is done .... ok bio breaks and food/drinks...but otherwise I’m here!
