Donald Trump 2024
JD Vance 2028
JD Vance 2032
Don Trump jr 2036
Don Trump Jr 2040

They could get some stuff done.

No family dynasties in the USA.

Vance is still a question mark in my mind. After all, he was allowed into Mitch McConnell’s rinopublican Senate. He’s an Ivy League graduate from a very left wing college and until recently a never-Trump.

One of the GOP’s favorite tricks is the creation of these faux-conservative “Firebrands”. They seem to roll a new one out every election season. He may be the exception. He may not. Time will tell.

A sound and safe idea indeed.

Don Jr’s mother Ivanka had not yet become a citizen when he, Ivanka and Eric were born. Didn’t matter with Obama, but the left will suddently “discover” the importance of the Constitution if any of the older Trump children would run. Barron was born 5-1/2 months before his mother Melania became a citizen; so he, too is not technically eligible.

The only Trump child with two U.S.-born parents is Tiffany. I wouldn’t count her out. She was educated at UPenn (Ivy League) and Georgetown Law, is married to a billionaire, and has had a great practical political education watching what has been done by, and to, her father. She will be 43 in 2036.

That said, after living through the Kennedy and Bush dynasties, I don’t think dynastic presidencies are a great idea. Senators, Representatives, Governors presidential advisors or cabinet members, maybe; but no more Trump presidents.
