Thousands of North Korean Soldiers Moving to Russia-Ukraine Border
Newsweek ^ | 10/24/2024 | John Feng

Some 2,000 North Korean soldiers have completed training in Russia and are being sent to its Western regions near the border with Ukraine, Japan's Kyodo News said on Thursday.

The troops traveling by train are likely bound for the Kursk region, where an advance team of about 10 officers has established a base of operations to receive North Korean ground forces, reported Kyodo, citing Ukrainian military intelligence. Russia has been fighting off a Ukrainian incursion into Kursk, which borders Ukraine's Sumy region, since August.

We’ll find out pretty quick if NK troops really are on the level of Rangers, SEALs, SAS, Black Watch.

This is an opportunity for the Norks to get battle field experience.

Cycle several thousand of these through active combat units and they will be in better shape to go back home and invade South Korea. They will be up against modern weapons and modern warfare and learn from it. Many will be promoted into leadership and training positions.

The North Koreans entering the Ukraine is bad enough, it’s all over when US troops enter Russian territory while chasing them back over the border.

Nuclear war.

I see that as the overall plan.

It will give the North a slight edge as the South Korean army has had no real combat experience since the Vietnam war. If it wasn’t for the actual waste of human flesh, South Korea should send a few thousand of their military to Ukraine for battle field experience. Then WWIII would have a real good foothold.

The advance team of Nork officers was familiarized with Western weapons by their Russians trainers.

First up was a personal inspection of cluster munitions. Then, the troops that followed were given their training on the same ATACMS cluster munitions which supplied several ball bearings for many troops.

Lil’ Kim will have to send more troops now.

“citing Ukrainian military intelligence”

This is all based on “Ukrainian military intelligence” just before our election.

Maybe this small contingent of Norkies is on their way to observe/possibly gain some experience in real action inside Russia in Kursk. Or maybe the Ukrainians are just saying so with the Biden administration’s approval or at its behest.

Yet all these hysterical claims that North Korea is going to invade Ukraine. Horrors!!! Sigh.

*If* there is any truth to this claim, it could well be the other way around — that Kim asked Putin to let a few of his military obesrve/gain experience in real combat. So Putin agreed to allow this small number to do that inside Russia in Kursk.

It’s all based on a claim made by “Ukrainian military intelligence” as per the article, so ... time will tell how much truth there is in it.

Disingenuous at best. Thousands. The whole two thousand becomes thousands. The MSM is on its last legs. The BS headlines need to stop. There is nothing sensational about a couple, no make that a few, thousand.

Biden has again destroyed the Sancton and Isolation regime that the US and South Korea hinged their hopes to strave North Korea into capitulation. Now that Brics has met and North Korea may be extended associate status, given the bloc’s refusal of members engaging or participating in SANCTIONS, the US has squandered all these years of bring North Korea to her knees.

The headlines should read, North Korea emerges from US-S.Korean Isolation to Flex on World Stage (by line - Biden Admin Ukriane Diplomacy Failures led to North Korean Rise).
