I think it’s more that it makes them - we’re talking preschoolers here - quiet and manageable.
Still wrong, but lots of parents would probably try it on occasion!
Here’s a novel idea. Parent you kids and they will behave. Stop dropping them in front of a tv/computer. We never had an issue with our pack. They were busy being kids all the time and we spent every minute we could with them.
If this were just a creative ruse about the power of the stickers, it’d be inventive, but basically harmless. 40 winks!
Who does this with actual sleep-inducing substances? Were their lessons not worthless enough to make the kiddies nod off?
Perhaps these teachers had ‘high’ ethical standards, and didn’t want to lie.
Maybe pre-schoolers belong at home with their parents instead of an early childhood indoctrination camp?
