I am not scared at the sight of a gun, but I am petrified at the sight of a lawyer named Bickerton. So there’s that.

It would have been nice had the article gone into more detail about the struggle.
But it must have been a doozy. From the article: “One cop was also hospitalized with major facial injuries and concussion…”
If Myeni was advancing faster than the cops could maneuver, this would seem like a good shoot.
As a side note, in the old days every cop carried a hickory wood baton. Most don’t now, for various reasons. I wonder if a baton used as a prod would have been useful here.

[Prosecutor Steven] Alm also noted that Myeni, a former rugby player, suffered from stage three chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a degenerative brain disorder often seen in people who have had repeated concussions or head trauma.

"It's literally a show of force. It has no place in a democracy."Sure, in a "democracy" your suppose to just bend over and take it. Just because "THEY" say so.
And the reason they give for being able to rape and rob you is, this is a "democracy".. (spit)

Body cam footage seems to back the cops description of events. City prolly figured 1.5 mil was cheaper than risking trial butI think the costs of not backing the officers will be higher in the long run as they encourage others to attack police.
