Among the avalanche of questions pouring down on the head of presidential hopeful Kamala Harris, one of the most intriguing is this: where's your sister gone?

Kamala has called their bond 'unbreakable'. And, when she received a call from President Joe Biden in July conceding that he would end his re-election campaign and pass the torch to her, Maya was among the first to rush to her sister's side at the vice presidential residence in Washington.

However, since then, Maya has largely vanished from public view.

Aside from the occasional sighting on the campaign trail, including an on-stage appearance at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this summer, Maya has been nearly nowhere to be seen. Certainly, she has no official campaign title.

'I feel that Maya has been very low-profile… extremely low-profile,' one Democrat insider told DailyMail.com.

Perhaps, Maya's absence is no mere precaution.

After all, as a former policy advisor to Hillary Clinton, Maya served as campaign chairperson on Kamala's disastrous 2020 presidential bid.

That campaign infamously face-planted in December 2019, two months before voters could even deliver their verdict in the first Iowa caucuses. And the blame was placed squarely on Maya's shoulders.

Democrat sources have confirmed to the Mail that they still hold Maya responsible, accusing her of pushing her big sister's political positions even further left than those of proudly socialist senator Bernie Sanders.

Socialized medicine, taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants, a ban on fracking, decriminalizing prostitution, decriminalizing illegal border crossings and endorsing the 'Green New Deal'… nothing was apparently too radical for Maya to suggest, or for Harris to consider when it came to earning support from the progressive left in 2019.

Maya is a purebred academic with a Stanford/Harvard pedigree. She is an Obama type clone so they figured Kamala must have some potential. Kamala was neither smart or pretty. She had to work it in the oldest profession.

Probably only “socialized medicine” isn’t still on Kamala’s to do list. And the reason it isn’t is because many “public servants” and union members have extraordinarily broad health care coverage including things such as dental implants.

Tony West, Kamala's Brother-in-law, 59, recently went on leave from his job as Uber’s chief legal officer to work on Harris’ campaign. West spoke about his sister-in-law at the convention on Wednesday night, telling delegates that she is motivated “by a belief in equal opportunity.” He has advised Harris’ campaigns since her race for San Francisco district attorney in 2003, and has accompanied her on some recent trips. A graduate of Stanford University law school, West was general counsel of PepsiCo before he joined Uber in 2017. He served in the Justice Department under Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. West and Maya Harris met at Stanford and married in 1998.

Tony West was/is the key player in the sue-and-settle scheme. A leftist group files a suit against a government agency. The government settles the case for big taxpayer bucks and the settlement gets disbursed amount leftist groups.

The same settlement tactic is used in big dollar cases a government entity brings against a large corporation. The corporation agrees to settle the case by shoveling a ton of money into a pile to be disbursed by the likes of Tony West.

Kamala put any discussion about Tony West off limits in the first debate.

I was thinking just the opposite. Do they have the same father? It may just be the picture quality, but her sister’s skin is much darker. OTOH, my four children, of the same father, don’t all have the same skin tone.
