Sorry, but I disagree. They fear both. They didn't fear Pence because he was with them against Trump, whereas Vance is for Trump,. But they fear Trump the most because, they know they cannot own him. Because they cannot own him, they cannot control him. that puts the Seep State apparatus that is fleecing the American taxpayer destroying the middle-class which makes this nation unique. Their whole structure is being threatened as it has never been threatened before.

On top of that, he is no longer an inexperienced novice to the world of politics. He is now a seasoned person with knowledge of how the game is played. Nothing more dangerous than a person with knowledge under their cap, & experience under their belt. Both of which will be passed to the torch-bearer that has now risen to the top.

They fear Vance, because he now becomes the MAGA torch-bearer who will carry forth with the MAGA goals of not only making America great, but by also taking back the power & returning it to we the people. While not rich as is Trump, he is a man of honor who has nothing to hide from. When he was against trump he was honest about it. When he realized what Trump was doing he began to understand what the fight is really all about.

If it hadn't been for Trump Vance would have never appeared on the scene. They thought they had corralled Trump with the lawfare, which failed even though they are still trying with that tactic. They failed in their assassination attempt, and possibly a second one that failed because he saw the results of the first attempt & realized he did not have what it takes to actually follow through with the assassination after all.

For those reasons, I must respectfully disagree with your assessment, though not entirely.
