He wasn’t assassinated. People in combat aren’t assassinated, they are killed.

It’s the use of a word that means a political killing; with intent. This was neither. It is used to evoke a response from the reader. It’s a typical Russian/Terrorist propaganda technique.

When you see word use like that, the article is not worth reading.

Agreed; If he was able to toss a piece of lumber he was able to toss a hand grenade. He was still fighting, had not surrendered, ergo, not assassination.

This worthless author was writing Leftist agit-prop and probably knew it.
