That reminds me of the Norfolk, VA High School cheer:
We don’t drink,
We don’t smoke,
Norfolk, Norfolk!
When my niece was about 1.5 years old, my brother had sooooo much fun with telemarketers. He would simply hand the phone to his daughter, and she was so happy to “talk” on the phone. High pitch laughter, squeaks, and words akin to “ibba-dabba-ibba.” What was even more amusing was when the telemarketer would keep talking to the babbling little girl.
One time, a live, breathing salesman actually came to the door. My brother has one of those very secure, metal screen doors with a deadbolt lock. As the sales person began, my brother just placed my niece at the front door, and dad just walked away. She began “talking” with the salesman. He too tried to talk to her, and eventually realized there were no sales to be had.
What a jerk. I bet he thought he was Prince Charming.
The only thing I remember about Adam and the Ants was the “secretary” in the “Goody Two Shoes” video.
Reminds me of that banned Cheerleader cheer from Norfolk high school:
We don’t drink! We don’t smoke! Norfolk! Norfolk!
Imagine if he got a call about Prince Albert in the can.
Did he let him out?
When I was driving today, someone pulled out in front of me, but I swerved and missed him. My wife was startled, but I told her not to worry because I have cat-like reflexes. Then I told her that unfortunately, it was like that very old, fat tabby that stayed in front of my mother’s fireplace all day long.
It was Dennis Moore.
That was Gretchen Whitmer
I got a text today saying “I found your number in my phone and I don’t remember who you are.” Hope ta’ hell she isn’t hot…
Stand and Deliver!
That was Caroline Munro. One of the sweetest people on the planet (and definitely eye-catching — had a crush on her since “The Golden Voyage of Sinbad”). Thanks for giving me something to think about other than the rimshot! lol
Goody Two Shoes
“Write it on a pound note!”
Some of Rush’s most up tempo bumper music 🎶 🎵 🎶
Baduh dada, duh dada
Thanks for the song memories.
