I remember it as I watched it in Dallas at a friends house.

Yup. The ONLY highlight for me was when the Steelers opened the second half with a successful surprise onside kick that 0'Donnell did NOTHING with.

Why is this non-flushable turd always interviewed? No other team owner gives interviews like this loser does. Shut up and let your coaches build and run the team, but I like it when they tank so stay the course.

With no Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence or DaRon Bland, the Cowboys didn't have much of a chance against one of the NFL's most dynamic offenses. The Lions bludgeoned them with the run, play action, trick plays, whatever Ben Johnson could pull out of his bag of tricks. And the Cowboys offense had no answer. It led to the worst home loss in Jones' ownership tenure, which dates back to 1989.

There is that yes, but the Cowboys' offense was anemic too.

As John McKay would say, “We didn’t tackle well, but we made up for it by not blocking.”

When is the last time a team started the season 0-3 at home, but 3-0 on the road?

Few here on FR had the Lions winning this game.

Maybe folks aren’t paying attention to what this team is doing(?).

As a long time Lions fan, I can’t believe what this team is doing. The D seems much improved from last year too. I’ve been ‘trained’ to not get sucked into believing in this team BUT I’m not sure how you slow them down. Goff gets time to pick you apart and then we have a duo that will smash it down your throat running. Short threat, deep threat, creative misdirection, etc...plus they caused 5 turnovers.

Don’t wake me up.

Jerrah Jones does not care. He makes a ton of money off Cowboys,
Win or Lose. He will feign disgust, while laughing on his way to his Banks
Depositing his Cowboy Cash Cow. Winning is an afterthought for Jerruh
and his Clan.

No team takes a loss harder than the Cowboys. It’s simply a joy to watch.

I’ve heard Jerry Jones does not have a general manager for the Cowboys, that he does that himself.

That right there I think is a major blunder on his part.

Maybe I’m missing something, but it seems to me if you own a football team ,you should hire the best football men you can find, , the best general manager and the best coaches and then let them do their jobs.

I still can’t believe how Jerry Jones fired Tom Landry.

I know that’s a very old story ,but he fired a legendary coach on the same day that he bought the franchise.

I don’t know if anyone else has a long memory of that but I’ve kind of been sour on Jerry Jones from that day.

The Cowboys are a clothing company that happens to own a sportsball team. They might get back to the business of Football after Jerry is gone but I wouldn’t count on it as long as people keep lining up to shovel money into the Jones’ hands for mediocrity.

He was definitely a witty guy.

“Coach, what do you think of your team’s execution today?”

“I’m in favor of it.”

Too bad the owner can’t be fired. I knew he was an asshole on day one. When he bought the team and fired Tom Landry unceremoniously. After all Tom Landry dead, he could’ve arranged a dignified exit and showing him a little respect. He just fired him and threw them out. Glad to see that idiot from Arkansas fail again.
