There is nothing wrong with being proud of one’s heritage as a legacy American and desire to preserve that history, any more than an American Indian being proud of their own legacy, a Messican being proud of their own legacy, an African being proud of their own legacy or a Puerto Rican being proud of their own heritage, all of which openly display that pride within the halls of our Congress.
