Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has accused Russian lawmakers from neighbouring regions of attempting to commission his assassination, and threatened them with a "blood feud" unless they prove otherwise, state news agency TASS reported.
TASS cited Chechen-language comments by Kadyrov, a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to a meeting of Chechen security officials. Video of the meeting was published on Kadyrov's personal Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The news agency translated Kadyrov's comments as: "There are witnesses, there are people from whom they tried to commission, whom they asked how much they would take for the order."
TASS cited Kadyrov as naming three members of Russia's legislature - two from Dagestan and one from Ingushetia - as being behind the alleged plot. "If they do not prove otherwise, I will officially declare a blood feud," he was quoted as saying. In Chechnya, blood feuds are a traditional custom of extracting revenge by killing an enemy or his male relatives.

You cannot prove a negative.
I wonder if Vladimir Putin approves. One of the major advantages of an Empire is to prevent internecine warfare like this.
Putin’s muzzies gonna muzz.
LOL - Kadyrov has always been a nut job.
Maybe it's (sort of) true.
Kadyrov posted the video. He’s nuts.
Youn just can’t find homicidal land grabbers that you can trust.
So what?
The world's worst Muslim Terrorists, the Chechens, are completely neutered and subjugated in Russia, and leave Russia to settle their spats in America where they do as they please in front of a blind FBI, IE, the Tsarnaev brothers Bombing the Boston Marathon.
"Reuters was not able to verify TASS's translation of Kadyrov's remarks."
Good catch.
Commies Vs Muzzies...
I’ll have a Coke.
Reading an article and reading it closely is not expected. Thus a "good catch" is often overlooked.
Best wishes.
Those Kadyrov named as plotting to kill him either represent in the Duma or have ties to Dagestan. There is bad history between Dagestan and Chechnya. After the first Chechen war with Russia, Chechen separatists invaded Dagestan. This led to the Second Chechen war which Chechnya lost, leading to Kadyrov's father and then Kadyrov running Chechnya under Moscow's heel.
On the surface, his getting involved in some of the bloodier Moscow business dealings and dragging Dagestan into it is not smart for him. Do you have any idea of what is going on behind the scenes with this, and why Kadyrov is taking this risk?
It’s all about money.
